The CDI method is deeply rooted in listening to the stories and challenges of members of our marginalized communities. Our method equips community members with the tools they need to use their lived experiences to self-heal, self-develop, and self-advocate. Our stories inform our advocacy work with partnering local, state, and national organizations to Connect, Correct, and/or Create pathways to needed services for impacted communities.
The CDI Method provides an immersive cohort experience that helps to change the lives of system-impacted individuals through the development of tools that allow them to not only move on from violence, but live beyond it, as self-sustaining and productive members of our community. The program is designed to teach comprehensive life skills, healing and leadership development, while also connecting participants with mentors, service agencies, and other resources to help them thrive.
